After four successful Photovoltaic Technology Shows (PTS), we have decided to expand our original trade fair concept to include other selected areas within the PV industry. In addition to the current focus on production systems, software solutions, as well as raw materials and supplies, we are booking an additional hall to present findings from basic research and applications research, testing and measurement equipment, product and process certification, as well as semi-finished products and BOS components.
First and foremost, the physical separation of both areas is designed to help expert visitors navigate the trade fair better, and put exhibitors and visitors in touch with the right contacts. By restricting the event to BOS end product manufacturers, we ensure that the event will attract our target audience -- that is industry representatives and experts.
IN RETROSPECT, AND LOOKING FORWARD
PHOTON’s 4th Photovoltaic Technology Show in 2009 featured booths from more than 290 equipment and material manufacturers, filling two halls and a total of approximately 215,000 ft2. In 2010, we will rent a third exhibition hall in Stuttgart to be prepared for growth and expansion. The additional hall will bring the total space to more than 330,000 ft2.
As in years past, PHOTON’s 6th Photovoltaic Technology Show will be accompanied by PHOTON Academy’s high level conference series. The conference series, which will start with PHOTON’s 8th Solar Silicon Conference, generally attracts top level industry experts, as well as start-up companies with new and innovative product solutions and concepts!
