Yingli Green Energy Holding Company Limited announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Yingli Energy (China) Company Limited recently announced the groundbreaking of a 100MW "Top Runner" project in Wuhai City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
The project will be installed with Yingli's patented PANDA Bifacial panels, which can generate both by front and rear sides. It is expected to be connected to the grid and begin operations in June 2018.

"Data shows that, since the grid-connection of the Datong 50MW 'Top Runner' project, which utilized PANDA Bifacial panels, its monthly energy yield is up to approximately 17% higher than typical multi-crystalline solar plants. We believe that this project will be another sample of Yingli's efforts in technological innovations to increase the efficiency and reduce the cost of solar power generation."
