BELECTRIC is further increasing its footprint in India's ever-growing solar industry: the company has been appointed as the EPC (engineering-procurement-construction) service provider for a large-scale solar project by Cleantech Solar.The photovoltaic (PV) project will have a total capacity of over 100 megawatt (MW) and will be delivered in three construction phases: the first phase of close to 50 MW is already under construction. The entire solar farm is expected to be built within this year.

BELECTRIC has been working closely with Cleantech Solar for the past few years and this is the eighth project on which both companies are working together. Other projects include two PV rooftop projects which rank with a combined capacity of 26 MW amongst Asia's largest rooftop installations.
