SolarWorld has landed another megawatt project in the United States. SolarWorld Americas will be supplying 17.5MW worth of solar power modules for a plant in the Mojave Desert west of Las Vegas. The plant will use the 340W modules produced by SolarWorld in Hillsboro, Oregon. The installation of the over 51,000 modules will be performed by Bombard Renewable Energy. The project is expected to be completed by the end of this summer. -

英利绿色能源控股有限公司今日宣布，公司旗下全资子公司英利欧洲已与欧洲一家工程总包商签署独家组件供应协议。按照协议，英利欧洲预计将向后者供应200兆瓦以内的光伏组件，这些组件预计将用于后者在拉美地区多米尼加开发和建设的光伏电站项目。按照协议，独家供应期将持续到2019年中，协议还对独家供应期间的商业条款做出了规定。目前，这些项目中有50兆瓦项目已经处于开发后期阶段，预计2017年开始建设。另外150兆瓦仍处于项目开发初级阶段。 -

Abengoa has sold Vela Energy four photovoltaic plants located in the provinces of Seville and Jaen. The agreement, included in the divestment plan recently announced by the company, implies a debt reduction of 50.3 M€ and a net cash inflow of 12.2 M€, and will contribute to achieving the targets set in the viability plan of New Abengoa. -

Canadian Solar Inc. today announced that it has won a 63MW solar power project in Aguascalientes, Mexico. Canadian Solar will develop and build the solar power plant. Once connected to the grid, the electricity generated will be sold to CFE (Comisión Federal de Electricidad), under a 15-year Power Purchase Agreement for energy and capacity and 20-year for Clean Energy Certificates at approximately US$47.95/MWh. The project is expected to be connected to the grid in September 2018.
