2017年，电投新能由国家电投集团科学技术研究院设立，专注于推进异质结（HJT）产业化发展，公司致力于推动全球光伏产业技术革新，加速零碳时代到来。

自成立以来，电投新能组建了涵盖材料、电池、装备、应用技术领域的强大研发团队，构建“一中心双基地”产业布局：研发中心位于江西省南昌市，生产基地分别设立于浙江省龙港市和四川省遂宁市，规划异质结年产能15GW，形成研-产-销协同发展体系。电投新能的产品及服务已覆盖全球多个国家和地区，以科技研发成果为依托，通过高效光伏技术解决方案助力绿色能源转型。
