Facing energy security, pollution, and climate change concerns, many countries have shifted toward renewable energy and introduced various plans to adjust their energy structures, aiming to achieve a clean power supply through new energy sources. In recent years, the development of renewable energy in China has been promising. China’s 13th Five-Year Plan focuses on pushing forward electric power system reform, in which the establishment of a global energy interconnection will be the highlight. Relying on the huge scale of “SNEC International Photovoltaic Power Generation Exhibition”, its international influence, and customers in the solar energy industry, the Shanghai New Energy Industry Association (SNEIA) launches the “11th SNEC ES+ (2026) International Energy Storage & Battery Technology and Equipment (Shanghai) Exhibition”, which will be held in Shanghai on Oct. 9-11, 2026, at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center.

Mobile energy offers efficient, all-weather power while maintaining mobility. It spans six key industries: new energy, new energy vehicles, new materials, high-end equipment manufacturing, energy conservation and environmental protection, and information technology. Energy storage plays a vital role and serves as a key technology in renewable energy systems. It is essential for enabling the widespread adoption of distributed energy and microgrids, supporting energy interconnection and sharing, and achieving integration with the power grid.
