Juwi Shizen Energy Inc. has just started construction on the 14MW Inshinomaki Numazi Photovoltaic Power Plant.

The project is situated on a former golf course in the city of Inshinomaki (Miyagi prefecture) in the north of Japan's main island Honshu. The plant has a size of 222,000 square meters and will annually produce approximately 16 million kWh of clean electricity. Juwi Shizen Energy is providing EPC (engineering, procurement and construction) services for Inshinomaki Kizuna GK. Trina Solar Japan Energy Co. Ltd. is in charge of development and management of the project. Operations and maintenance of the solar park is provided by Juwi Shizen Energy Operation Inc. The produced electricity is sold to Tohoku Electric Power Co., Inc. under the country's Feed-in Tariff for renewable energy. The plant is scheduled to be fully operational by summer 2017.
