SolAmerica Energy, LLC and Citizens Energy Corporation today announced the completion of four solar projects totaling 5.1MW in various locations in the state of Georgia. The projects are part of the Georgia Power Advanced Solar Initiative pursuant to which Georgia Power will purchase power generated from the projects under a 20-year Power Purchase Agreement.
The completed projects include the following:
- Taylor County Industrial Park in Butler, GA: 1.8MW Ground Mount
- Cook County Farm in Lenox, GA: 1.3MW Ground Mount
- Terrell County Industrial Park in Dawson, GA: 1MW Ground Mount
- Goolsby Farm in Sasser, GA: 1MW Ground Mount
SolAmerica developed and provided turnkey Engineering, Procurement and Construction services for the projects. Citizens Solar financed and will own the four projects as part of a larger portfolio acquired in the state in 2014-2015.
