ZAKH Renewable Energy is a leading manufacturer of advanced photovoltaics and Building-Integrated Photovoltaics (BIPV), dedicated to accelerating the global transition to clean energy. Founded in 2017 as an R&D laboratory in Azerbaijan, the company brought together scientists and engineers from across the CIS and international markets to develop next-generation solar technologies. From 2020 onwards, it expanded into applied technologies, including high-efficiency PV modules and innovative BIPV solutions that seamlessly integrate energy generation with architectural design.

In 2023, ZAKH transitioned to full-scale manufacturing, establishing a state-of-the-art production facility in the RAKEZ Free Zone, UAE. Today, the company operates two independent production lines: a 600 MW solar panel line and a BIPV façade line with an annual capacity of approximately 500,000 m². ZAKH’s products are engineered for hot, arid climates, offering high thermal resistance, sand durability, and long-term performance.

With a strong focus on innovation, quality, and sustainability, ZAKH Renewable Energy aims to become a global leader in PV and BIPV solutions while supporting the UAE’s Net Zero 2050 vision.

In 2023, the company transitioned from pure R&D to full-scale manufacturing, establishing a production facility in the Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ), United Arab Emirates. In 2024, ZAKH launched production of solar panels specifically designed for hot climates — optimised for high temperatures and sand resistance.

Simultaneously, the company developed a BIPV series with specialised multilayer insulation designed to prevent heat penetration into buildings. These systems include advanced facade panels that reduce indoor heat gain while maintaining natural light transmission, delivered as a modular gradient system for flexible architectural applications.
