Early on, she recognized the potential of photovoltaics as a renewable energy. Varus Energy is now, due to its exponential growth, one of the leading wholesalers of PV components in Germany.

Why “Varus”? He was a Roman general and politician under the first Roman emperor, Augustus, preparing to leave his summer headquarters in Vetera (today, Xanten) when he was ambushed and defeated.

Choosing that name was a symbol of “losing one battle doesn’t mean losing the war.” And Varus Energy is here to commit to and for green energy and the environment, a battle we will win together.
