Dear Sir/Madam:
I am a commercial shrimp farmer in Long An Province, Mekong Delta, 45-km south from HCM city, where provides on an average of 6 hr/day, 300 day/year sunshine. I plant to invest a new 10-ha shrimp farm using modern farming technology. Each my farming ha (1-ha), I use in the range of 3500 kwh, My farm is operated 365 days/year. Presently, I use a local electric company, who produce electricity from buring coal, to supply my electricity. For better to the environment, I would like to change partially or fully my electricity to solar and LPG. Please provide me a quote on capital investment required so I can provide own-electricity, either 100% solar or 50% solar & 50% LPG. Estimation is based on each of my ha (1-ha) shrimp farming. I expect to make my change within next 5 month period.
