Dear Sirs/Madams, xxx hereby requests a commercial proposal for the design, supply of equipment, and, optionally, installation of a grid-tie solar power plant (SPP) for the needs of our enterprise, located at: Kazakhstan, xxx. 1. Basic Principles of the Future SPP We plan to operate the SPP only during daylight hours and do not envisage the installation of battery storage. We are considering a "grid-tie system." In such a system, the electricity generated by solar panels will be primarily used for our own consumption, and any shortfall will be covered by the main power grid. At this stage, the primary goal is self-consumption to reduce costs. 2. Technical Requirements for Main Equipment A. Grid-Tie Inverter (Converter) Inverter Type: A three-phase grid-tie inverter with an output voltage of 380V. Calculation of Required Inverter Power: Based on our equipment list and its startup sequence, the maximum simultaneous load can reach 37.3 kW (when all main equipment sets and the compressor are operating). First set: 8.2 kW + 3 kW + 5.5 kW + 5.5 kW = 22.2 kW. First + second set: 22.2 kW + 8.1 kW + 3 kW = 33.3 kW. All sets + compressor: 33.3 kW + 4.0 kW = 37.3 kW. Minimum Considered Inverter Power: To stably cover the most probable peak loads (e.g., first set at 22.2 kW + compressor at 4 kW = 26.2 kW), we consider an inverter power of at least 30 kW to be necessary. Preferred Inverter Power for Greater Reliability: Considering inrush currents and potential future load changes, we are considering selecting an inverter with a power of 35-40 kW. Additional Inverter Requirements: The presence of multiple MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) trackers is desirable for flexibility in panel installation (considering orientation, shading, etc.). B. Solar Panels Calculation of Required Total Panel Power: Based on Average Daily Consumption: Our consumption is approximately 1400 kWh per month, which means about 56 kWh per day. Considering the insolation conditions in xxx (3.5-4 hours of effective sunlight per day), covering the average daily consumption would require panel power ranging from 14 kW (peak) to 16 kW (peak). Balancing with Inverter Power: For efficient use of the inverter's capacity and to cover most of the peak daytime consumption with solar energy, we plan to install panel power corresponding to the selected inverter power. For example, for a 30 kW inverter, considering weather conditions and a DC/AC ratio (usually 1.0-1.3), we are considering installing panels with a total capacity of 25-35 kW (peak). Minimum Considered Panel Power: Prioritizing cost minimization while ensuring a significant portion of daytime consumption is covered, we are prepared to start considering panel power of 20-25 kW (peak), with the possibility of increasing it depending on the budget and available installation space. Panel Type: Monocrystalline or polycrystalline silicon panels with high durability, considering the climatic conditions of the region (snow loads, temperature fluctuations). Consideration of Insolation Conditions in xxx: We understand the importance of accurately assessing the solar radiation level in xxx throughout the year and plan to order a generation simulation based on local climate data. 3. General System Considerations Battery-less System: Advantages for us – significant reduction in initial costs, simplified maintenance. Disadvantages (no generation at night/during bad weather, grid dependence) will be limited as our enterprise operates only during the day. Actual Load Profile: We recognize the importance of understanding our hourly electricity consumption for optimal system design. Installation Site and Conditions: It is necessary to assess the availability of sufficient area (roof or ground) and minimize the impact of shading. Grid Connection Procedures: We will need to clarify the rules and procedures for connecting to the power grid with our local energy supply organization. Protective Equipment: Protective devices against overcurrent, earth faults, surges, etc., will be required. Conclusion Based on the foregoing, for our situation in xxx, provided we create an economical SPP without battery storage, we consider it realistic to start considering a configuration that includes an inverter with a power of at least 30 kW and solar panels with a total capacity of 20-25 kW (peak). Depending on the actual load and budget, we are prepared to consider increasing the inverter power to 35-40 kW and the panels to 25-35 kW (peak). We kindly request you to provide a commercial proposal including: Cost of main equipment (inverter, solar panels, mounting systems, cables, protective switchgear) with indication of models and manufacturers. Technical specifications (datasheets) of the proposed equipment. Cost of project design works. Optionally: cost of installation and commissioning works. Delivery times for equipment and work completion timelines. Warranty terms for equipment and works. Payment terms. An estimated annual energy generation calculation for the proposed SPP configuration, considering the climatic data of xxx. Delivery Terms: Ex-works or delivery to the address: Kazakhstan, xxx.
