We're putting together a proposal for roughly 30kW PV on the site of a commercial hydro plant in the xxx area in Co. xxx in Ireland. The PV will be ground mounted as there's lots of space. The client owns a number of similar sites and all of them operate at much reduced or zero power during dry periods so the aim is to continue exporting by way of PV.
The job in xxx would be a trial run with a view to more if successful.
The existing hydro generators operate at 600v 3~ with an on-site traffo stepping up to whatever the local voltage, 10K or 20K.
We notice from your website that you offer 600v grid tie inverters but in MW sizes. xxx
Do you have smaller inverters available operating at 600v?
Or have you another suggestion as to how this might be done?
