Hello,
I hope this message finds you well. I have a few technical queries regarding a BESS system that will be integrated with wind turbines.
We plan to connect five wind turbines to a single 650–700 kWh BESS. The BESS will supply a continuous load of 25 kW per hour. Additionally, a backup generator will be included in the system.
My questions are as follows:
1. How is synchronization handled between the wind turbine outputs and the BESS?
2. Since the wind turbines will generate AC power, is frequency control managed by an external controller, or is it typically integrated within the BESS?
If it is integrated, is it possible to connect all five wind turbine outputs directly to the BESS as strings?
3. How many inverters are typically required inside the BESS? Would a single inverter be sufficient, or are multiple inverters usually needed?
4. Does the BESS typically include an additional input port for connecting a generator along with the wind turbines?
