We generate power for our customers from a combination of wind and Solar
We are looking for a new battery system. The preference is Lithium Iron Phosphate
The battery pack has to be sized at 38kWh to balance the 2X 4kW generators on our wind turbine, operating at an average 40% utilization, with a maximum 7kW load operating under the stipulated 12-hour duty cycle, i.e. 5-mins at 90% load, 20-mins at 80% load with the remainder of the 12-hours at 20% load. In the event of a complete power failure the battery must support the duty cycle for 20-hours down to 80% DoD. Under the operating duty cycle, and if maintained within the manufacturers operating parameters, the battery will return a 10-year design life.
