We are looking for a supplier capable of designing and manufacturing a complete, self-supporting solar structure to be installed on the roof of a 20-foot shipping container.
1. Type of structure required
We are not looking for a rooftop rail system.
We need a triangular load-bearing structure (A-frame), similar to a small metal truss, that sits directly on top of the container and supports multiple tilted solar panels.
2. Installation without drilling
• No drilling or welding on the container is allowed.
• Two installation options are acceptable:
– fixation only through the upper ISO corner castings, or
– self-supporting ballasted structure placed on top of the container (similar to the photos).
3. Photovoltaic panel compatibility
• Panel width is fixed, for example 1222 mm.
• Panel length must be variable: the mounting system must be adjustable in length to support different PV module sizes.
• Easy panel mounting is required.
4. Tilt angle
• The structure must provide a tilted mounting angle for the solar panels.
