xxx is an energy company that invests in power plants and sells electricity in Azerbaijan and Georgia. Our power plant investments are continuously expanding in line with market demand.
Currently, we have a 5 MWp rooftop solar power plant in operation, and we are selling the generated electricity. In addition, we are now in a position to develop additional up to 8 MWp of solar power plants using CARPORT applications. The parking areas have already been allocated to us, and we have signed an electricity purchase agreement with the off-taker for the electricity to be generated.
However, as we do not yet have direct experience with CARPORT solar applications, we do not intend to launch a full-scale tender at this stage. Instead, we would like to implement a pilot (plot) CARPORT project for 20 vehicles. Through this pilot installation, we aim to gain comprehensive technical, financial, and operational know-how before scaling up.
The drawings previously shared are conceptual drafts only. You are free to propose alternative and more detailed technical solutions. As electricity sales prices in Azerbaijan are relatively low, CAPEX optimization is extremely critical for us. Therefore, we are particularly interested in the most economical and practical solution without compromising safety and long-term operability.
Following the successful completion of this pilot project, we intend to establish a long-term cooperation agreement with the selected company. Our objective is to work with the same partner for many years in Azerbaijan and Georgia, not only for CARPORT systems but also for rooftop, ground-mounted, and all future mounting system solutions.
