Can you please help us with a quick calculation and price? (no need for high accuracy)
We would like to present a calculation to our customer showing roughly cost and the amount of ballast that’s needed for a PV-installation (on a flat roof), with 40 degree tilt.
It seems that 40 degree tilt with ballast for rooftop mounting is not a common thing on the market. Do you have such a solution?
What kind of ballast is needed (very rouhly) kg/m2?

Hi,
we are in the process of selecting a roof fastening system for one of our projects. We have a low pitch (approx 10 deg) N/S roof (17.000 m2) where we will install a 2 MWp PV system - panel size 1,95 m x 0,99 x 0,050 and we need a 15 deg pitch at the North end of the panels (will have fixed tilt along the long side of the roof although the roof is sloped). Project is in a tropical area where hurricanes may pass.
Can you provide a reasonable and reliable solution?
